About Us

Dr. Kannan finished his residency in Neurology at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY.  He completed his fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases at Barnes-Jewish Hospital - Washington University, St. Louis, MO.  

 

Dr. Kannan has been providing comprehensive neurological care to his patients for several years.  He strongly believes that an integral part of providing excellent quality medical care is patient/family member education.  In his own words, "Empowering patients to make reasonable, informed decisions is key to acheiving a successful outcome.  Therefore, an honest, open discussion regarding the disease process and available therapeutic options is every patient's right."
